WEBINAR: Social Farms & Gardens: Introduction to the Green Care Quality Mark

We were very excited to host Denise and Sophie, from Social Farms & Gardens, to explain more about their Green Care Quality Mark and how green organisations can get involved and sign up for the Award.

What is the Green Care Quality Mark?

The Green Care Quality Mark is a sector-wide quality assurance accreditation for green care providers. The Quality Mark shows that you run a safe, professional organisation and look after the people and animals in your care.

You might be a care farmer, a community garden offering Social & Therapeutic Horticulture, an Animal Assisted Therapy provider or involved in any other type of land-based delivery.

The Green Care Quality Mark helps you reach the minimum standards you need to meet as a green care provider. It also helps you to understand the requirements of commissioners, referral agencies, and service users.

The Green Care Quality Mark has recently been included in the new Green Social Prescribing Toolkit, produced by NASP and NHS England, to help both Social Prescribers and delivery providers deliver Green Social Prescribing more sustainably.
