Following the success of our Big Green Festival this summer, we’ll be running a series of events throughout Autumn and Winter at each of our pilot Green Hubs across the North.
Each event offers you the chance to come and see what our pilot Hubs have been up to and meet members of the Northern Network team, alongside a host of local projects, groups, and other organisations.

Winter Edition!
Workington Green Community Hub
Monday 4th December, 1pm – 3pm
Drop into Workington Green Community Hub between 1pm – 3pm on Monday 4th December. You’ll get to meet members of the Northern Network team, alongside a host of local organisations, and find out the results of a nature survey with Natural England and the University of Cumbria. You’ll be able to explore a marketplace of stalls, network with people and projects, and find out what else is going on in Workington
You can also try some fun activities and enjoy a FREE buffet!
Autumn Edition!
Horton Community Farm, Bradford
Wednesday 18th October, 11am – 2pm
Head to Horton Community Farm in Bradford on 18th October. You’ll be able to explore a marketplace of stalls and stands, network with people and projects, and enjoy a tour of the community farm.
There’ll also be an opportunity to learn all about composting in a training session led by our local project facilitator for Groundwork Yorkshire, Louise Ross. Plus, there’ll be a FREE lunch!
West Gorton Community Park, Manchester
Wednesday 15th November, 1- 3pm
Head to West Gorton Community Park in Manchester on 15th November to meet members of the Groundwork and Northern Network team, alongside a host of local organisations. You’ll be able to explore stalls, network with people and projects, join site tours, and take part in some practical workshops.
There’ll also be an opportunity to join a taster breath walking session with the Green Yoga Collective. Plus, there’ll be a FREE lunch!*
