One of the big successes of the Workington Green Community Hub has been increasing the connectivity between green spaces across the town. So behind the scenes, Project Facilitator Hannah and Anja from Tale Trails have been working hard to map out the green spaces in Workington so that everyone can enjoy and use them.
The map provides users with clear walking and cycle routes around the town, linking up High Harrington Nature Reserve and Saltbeck Reservoir with the town centre. There are lots of tips for places to visit around the town, and places you can stop and rest if you need.
What better time to get it out or come and pick one up for free from Groundwork NE & Cumbria office or Workington Library on New Oxford Street?
