David joined our Green Leadership Programme from his project: Ambassadors for the Canal – Canal Lengths Persons (CLP). The CLP Project provides a structured and purposeful opportunity for trained volunteers to support and promote the blue and green environment of the canal, towpath, and neighbouring areas.

John is the founder of Solidarity Farm CIC, a working farm in Northumberland that works with young people struggling with mainstream education. Using farm and nature-based activities, it provides a non-judgemental space for young people to be themselves and connect with nature.

Following the success of our Big Green Festival this summer, we’ll be running a series of events throughout Autumn and Winter at each of our pilot Green Hubs across the North.

We’re now halfway through our Green Leadership Programme and our cohort met again last week at the wonderful Platt Fields Market Garden in Manchester to immerse themselves in a session all about health and wellbeing.

We’ve been putting forward our vision for the northern network to our many communities and partners.

Our Northern Network project team came together once again on a very cold day in December, for a full-day meeting and workshop.

Our Project Manager, Sam has been leading in-person community engagement events at different venues across the North.

Grozone is a hidden garden oasis offering a friendly and warm welcome to its local communities in Northwich, Cheshire.

Nancy and her husband Siu-Wah first got involved with Grow Speke about a year ago and have been regular volunteers ever since.
